FINDING ACCOMMODATION

If you want to participate in ISIPTA '99, you are responsible for booking your own accommodation for the duration of your stay in Ghent.

One alternative is that you contact the Belgian Tourist Reservation board, who will help you make reservations. You can do this by downloading the BTR hotel booking form below, filling it out completely, and sending it by fax before 1 June 1999 to

Another alternative is that you contact your travel agent in order to find suitable accommodation not too far from the conference location (Het Pand, Onderbergen 1), which is located in the medieval centre of Ghent, close to the Korenmarkt, the Graslei and the Vrijdagmarkt. You may want to look at a map of Ghent before choosing between different options.

Please book your accommodation well in advance! There are quite a number of hotels, B&B's, rooms, ... within walking distance from the city centre, but Ghent is popular with tourists during the summer, and especially in July, around the time of the Ghent Festivities.
