HOW TO PREPARE AND SEND US THE FINAL VERSION OF AN ACCEPTED PAPER

General information

If your paper is accepted for presentation at ISIPTA '99, you will have to prepare a final version taking into account the reviewers' comments, and the typesetting instructions mentioned below.

When your paper is ready, you should send it to us as a postscript or PDF file. See below for more information on how to do that.

The deadline for sending the final version of your accepted contribution is 30 April 1999. Any paper that reaches us after that date cannot be included in the hardcopy version of conference proceedings.

Shortly after 30 April, the papers will be made available for viewing and downloading on this site, on the ELECTRONIC PROCEEDINGS page.

Typesetting instructions

These typesetting instructions are quite specific and should be followed carefully. We plan to produce proceedings with a book appearance and not a collection of papers written with different formats, so it is very important that you follow the guidelines. The typesetting instructions can be downloaded as a postcript file. This document is typeset according to the typesetting instructions it describes, and your article should have the same appearance.

By far, the easiest way to produce an article that satisfies the requirements is to use LaTeX  with the downloadable  isipta.sty style file. Also downloadable is the TeX version of the typesetting instructions, which can be used as a template for typesetting your paper:

Note that the instructions in this document produce an article that is quite compact. Ten pages (no more!) are allowed for each article; these ten pages probably contain the same amount of text as thirteen to fifteen pages written with ordinary article formats in LaTeX.

Sending us the paper

Besides the normal hardcopy proceedings, we plan to produce electronic proceedings, which will available well before the conference. In order to help us with the production of the electronic proceedings, please send us the necessary data by filling out the form below, and then clicking on the SUBMIT button. If you are unable to use this form, please send the same data by e-mail to: isipta99@ensmain.rug.ac.be.

After sending the data, please remember to send your contribution as a postscript or PDF file.

The easiest way to do this, is to send an e-mail message to isipta99@ensmain.rug.ac.be, and attach the postscript or PDF file to it. The name of the file should be the submission number followed by the extension .ps or .pdf (whichever is appropriate).

In the subject line of the e-mail message you should mention ISIPTA paper submission number.
